About the Designer

Natalie is a Product design student attending the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design with experience in communication design and fine art as well.

Natalie has always had a passion for creative outlets, trying as many new projects and hobbies as she could get her hands on. Growing up, her focus was heavily on fine art practices including drawing, painting, jewelry making, textiles, and much more. With so many hobbies, it was difficult to decide a career path to focus on, but she knew that she needed to choose something that wouldn’t turn her joy for creativity into undesirable work.

The decision to pursue a career in design has allowed Natalie to learn so many skills while keeping hobbies as fun activities for free time. Through her education, Natalie has developed research, ideation, drawing, prototyping, problem solving, and fabrication skills while also learning ways to present information in clear and appealing ways.

She plans to continue exploring, growing, and learning as much as she can, and hopes to create work that makes a positive impact on the world around her.
